Hi Maria, For the best texture, I recommend baking the buns fresh so they stay incredibly fluffy. However, you can definitely bake them ahead of time, let them cool, and store them in an airtight container. When you’re ready to serve, just add the cheese dip and pop them back in the oven until the cheese is melted and the buns are warmed through. They’ll still be delicious! Xx

This Sweet Potato Bun Cheese Dip is a total showstopper! The buns are incredibly fluffy, and that gooey center is pure indulgence. It was the star of my last gathering, my guests couldn’t get enough!
Quick Question: To save time, can I bake the sweet potato buns ahead of time and just melt the cheese dip in them later, or is it best to bake everything fresh for the best texture?

I actually surrounded the 16 buns around two cheeses instead of one, one Camembert and one Brie for Thanksgiving, and it was a huge hit. So much so that it was requested that I make it again tomorrow for Christmas. Your unique recipes are always a winner, thanks for another great one!
