First time I made it, I used minced garlic from a tube. You are correct in saying milky white mess and the flavors didn’t separate as it does with taking time to chop everything and mix it by hand. Unfortunately cant use fresh oregano because its poisonous to cats if consumed in large quantities and my cats love to chomp plants. Other than the dried oregano, this is IMO, perfect in blending taste and visual on anything you wish to use it with.
Now, the reason im not giving it 5 stars is how the steak is cooked. If you don’t know or haven’t tried reverse searing, take some time to prepare the steak that way and see if it would be a fantastic addition to this recipe. Since I have, ill give it a personal 6 stars on a ribeye!
Hope everyone looks up reverse sear, or low and slow instead of just throwing it on a grill. You could be ruining the steak potential, like chimchurii in a blender.
