This is the second time that I have used this recipe, but this time with a couple minor modification (using a turkey bag and not basting). I cannot believe how juicy, tender, and flavorful my turkey was this year. I cut open the bag during the last hour so the breast would brown. I also used slices of orange, apple and a pear, in addition to the lemon which probably helped with moisture. Leftover drippings and juice from the turkey made the best gravy. Thank you for posting this recipe!

My husband and I made this recipe on the outside Webber domed bbq grill in a roasting pan using indirect heat on both sides. We only partially closed the dome so it would not get excessively smoky
We had a lot of people and a lot of various sides. This was the number one hit of the party juicy tender and Lucious

As I am about to start making this recipe for 3rd year in the row, I can’t recommend it highly enough, especially if you are roasting a turkey for the first time. Easy to follow instructions, simple cooking process, and a delicious result.
