Can this be made with a roast chicken from the shops?

In reply to Adelle. Hi Adelle, Yes you can use shrimp. Just keep the marinating time to about 15-20 minutes so the lime juice doesn't cook the seafood. Grill them quickly until perfectly pink and juicy, then toss them straight into the salad! Enjoy Xx

Oh so good! This reminded me of my favorite salad ever that Applebees stopped serving a long time ago. We loved your salad and plan to have it many more times. I may add those little tortilla strips next time and maybe a green goddess type of dressing, but it’s so flavorful it doesn’t really need any at all. The reserved half of the marinade was a little too tangy for me as a dressing, even after adding sour cream to it. I loved it as a marinade, though. I can’t wait to have this again!
