Made this today and doubled the recipe. I didn’t add the tamarind sauce as didn’t have any but I don’t think it deterred from the flavour. So good and definitely will be making again and again!!

This is DEVINE! Best satay sauce I’ve ever made so far. This is the first time I came across your website whilst googling Thai satay, always looking for one better than the last one I made. Yours looked a little different with the Kecap Manis which I love so had to give it a go. Followed your recipe precisely except I used chicken breast. This really is superb. Thank you for sharing. I’m keeping this recipe, no need to keep looking. Love it!
