Hi Suzanne, A large head of broccoli generally weighs around 1 lb (450g), which gives you about 3 to 4 cups of chopped florets. Hope this helps for next time! Xx

The fritters are ok, but the ingredient list always leaves me with the question, “how big is a large head of broccoli”? A weight or cup measurement would be very hepful. I had to guess if there was too much or too little broccoli for the rest of the ingredients. I erred on the side of (a bit) too much. Did anyone else come up with a more useful measurement? All advice appreciatd.

These look fantastic! Do you think I could use frozen broccoli florets if I thaw them and squeeze out all the excess moisture, or is fresh definitely the way to go?

Peeled and cut it into batons, added a roughly chopped spring onion. I think I overdid the garlic and I pan fried in just a spray of olive oil. They were delicious ( except a bit too much garlic) – great idea to use up a part of the vegetable I would normally have thrown away
