Hi Craig, Yes no mention of the optional can of tomatoes, but I have had so many people add them in, and it’s a fantastic idea to include them for extra flavor and moisture!

If you want to add them in next time, a 14.5-ounce can of diced tomatoes (drained) would be perfect. Just stir them in when you add the beans and broth. Enjoy Xx
