Sauce is superb! Wife recoiled at the expected heat because of the name, and then oohed and aahed all the way through dinner.
Used 2Tbs sambal olek with a pinch of sugar and a little garlic powder since I didn’t have siracha. Also used regular mayo.
Hustling through the kitchen with several things going on, I took a quick glance at the recipe and only registered burner at medium heat and didn’t notice the 350 temperature. Struck me as a little cool for frying and it was. My fault.
Served with black beans and rice as suggested.
Different and delightful dinner. Thank you, Karina, been using your recipes for 6-7 years and they never disappoint.
